LACE UP YOUR SHOES FOR THE 2012 TURKEY TROT!
Thank you so much to everyone who came out for the 8th Annual Larry Cox Turkey Trot! We had over 630 participants this year!
Galen Dills won the race with a time of 15:30. Our 2nd place runner, with a time of 16:05, apparently ran straight home for turkey without even claiming his pie, leaving us unable to record his name (if anyone knows who it was, please send us an e-mail). And Zack Holbert came in 3rd place with a time of 16:29. Rounding out the Men’s top Five were Ethan Richter with a time of 16:31, and Erik Allsop with a finish time of 16:35. The Women’s Top Five were Jamie Retherford 1st with a time of 19:05, Megan Day was 2nd finishing in 20:44, followed by Kristine MacAllum at 21:20. And coming in almost together were Annie Rooney with 21:32 and Sarah Appleton a single second later at 21:33. Congratulations to our winners!
A number of items were left at the park after the race. If you are missing anything, please contact us via e-mail and we will check to see if we have your stuff and make arrangements to get it back to you.

Race day registration opens at 7 am on Thanksgiving Day at the Chillicothe City Pool Parking Lot, but t-shirts will not be available the day of the race.
Registration Terms and Conditions
A physical examination is not required to run in this event, however, all competitors participate at their own risk. If in doubt as to your physical condition to engage in an event as strenuous as 3.1 mile run, it is strongly recommended that you seek the advice of a competent physician before registering. All persons under 18 years of age MUST have written consent from their parent or legal guardian to compete in the above-mentioned event. In consideration of this entry, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators waive any and all rights to damages I may have against the Southern Ohio Crime Stoppers, the City of Chillicothe, Scioto Township, individuals associated with this event, their representatives, successors and sponsors for any and all injuries including, but not limited to, pre-race, race, and post-race activities. Race will take place rain or shine. No refunds.
